The Role

We're seeking a highly skilled NaaS Technology Architect to join our team in New England. As a key member of our sales and solution engineering teams, you'll be responsible for designing and architecting innovative solutions using our cloud and network services platform.

As a NaaS Technology Architect, you'll work closely with customers to understand their business needs and develop tailored solutions that meet their requirements. You'll also collaborate with our product management team to enhance our services and stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends.

Main Responsibilities
  1. Specialized Solution Design: You'll serve as an expert for our solution engineers, providing in-depth knowledge of specific technologies and products. You'll clarify unclear requirements with sales and clients, ensuring that our solutions address core client issues and provide guidance and alternatives to customer requirements.
  2. Specialist Expertise: You'll offer design, solution best practices, and industry knowledge to our sales teams during the customer lifecycle. You'll involve other specialists to create cross-functional, multi-product solutions and stay updated on industry technology trends through self-study and training.
  3. Product Partnership: You'll collaborate with our product management team to enhance processes and design within specific product areas and advise relevant departments on solutions. You'll actively contribute strategic and tactical insights for new product development across the organization.
  4. Customer Meetings: You'll participate in customer meetings, both onsite and through collaboration tools. You'll develop and present technical proposals and presentations tailored to the audience's business understanding. You'll offer comprehensive answers to questions about solutions and technologies.
  5. Custom Solutions: You'll have a thorough grasp of technical and product limitations within specialization areas and knowledge of multi-product interactions, including standard offerings, special approvals, and non-viable solutions. You'll collaborate with the account team to guide custom requests through the approval process.
  6. Sales Enablement: You'll assist our sales teams by sharing expertise on processes, key contacts, technology, and products via phone, written communication, or live training sessions.
What We Look For in a Candidate

We're looking for a highly skilled and experienced NaaS Technology Architect with a strong background in cloud and network services. You'll have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a pre-sales role, responsible for needs identification, qualification, and solutions design with certain products/applications.

You'll possess advanced technical knowledge of networks-as-a-service, NFV, MEF/Carrier Ethernet, TCP/IP, BGP, Internet, MPLS, SASE, DDOS, Network Security, Cloud Connect to GCP, Azure, AWS, and Oracle. You'll have excellent communication and sales skills, with the ability to independently orchestrate and lead discussions with clients across multiple levels, including C-level, VPs, and Directors within IT.

You'll have a proven track record of success in attaining sales quota through leveraging technical relationships to up-sell existing customers and calling on new leads/prospects to generate business within an assigned territory using solution selling methodologies.

You'll have advanced written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work with multiple levels of decision-making. You'll clearly articulate technical solutions in writing, on the phone, using video, or in person.

You'll have expert problem-solving skills and the ability to methodically understand and resolve complex issues across multiple products to integrate into a seamless customer solution. You'll demonstrate the ability to focus ambiguous customer needs into specific, deliverable requirements and demonstrate creative solution development.

You'll have the ability to work independently, part of a team, or pull together and lead a team to build complex customer solutions. You'll build strong team relationships and easily transfer technical information. You'll work under pressure with tight deadlines and on multiple projects simultaneously. You'll be very detail-oriented and demonstrate a high degree of accuracy. You'll have good organizational capabilities and the ability to prioritize with good time management skills.

You'll possess expert-level communication skills, capable of creating engaging proposals and presenting to customers at any level of expertise. You'll have advanced knowledge and usage of computer business applications such as Outlook, Word, Excel, Visio, and PowerPoint.

You'll have a Bachelor's Degree in a related field or equivalent industry experience in the private sector or military. Industry certification in one or more specialized technologies is a plus.

Business travel is required up to 25%.
