We invite you to join our team as a Radiologic Technologist on our Diagnostic Imaging team at Garnet Health Medical Center Middletown.

Responsibilities

  • Operate various radiographic and computer equipment to produce high-quality radiographs of designated areas of human anatomy.
  • Accept assignments to various locations within the ORMC system, including all off-site facilities.
  • Work collaboratively with our team to deliver exceptional patient care and achieve our goals.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited radiology program.
  • Three to six months' on-the-job experience preferred.
  • New York State License required.
  • Registry A.R.R.T. required.

Working Conditions

Works in a clean, well-lighted, heated or ventilated facility with no routine exposure to hazards.

Physical Demands

Demonstrates physical and functional ability to perform full anatomical range of motion to accomplish tasks.

Ability to lift 100 lbs and withstand long periods of sitting, standing and/or constant walking.

Mental Demands

Ability to foster collaborative relationships, work well under pressure, and prioritize tasks.

Possesses critical thinking, analytical skills and flexibility.

May be subject to irregular hours including evenings or potentially weekends to participate in operational and community events as necessary.
