Corewell Health South is seeking a full-time Hospitalist to join our team in Southwest Michigan. We are looking for a patient-centered and team-oriented physician who is board eligible/board certified in Internal Medicine.
Responsibilities- Provide 24/7 inpatient coverage at Corewell Health Lakeland Hospital St. Joseph and Corewell Health Niles Hospital.
- Work a block-style schedule with providers rotating seven (7) consecutive days on followed by seven (7) days off.
- Shifts are from 8:00am to 8:00pm, and 8:00pm to 8:00am.
- Use Epic electronic health record for documentation.
The Hospitalist Team includes adult medicine physicians and advanced practitioners, including dedicated nocturnists. Procedures are available but not required. No intubation or vent management is required.
Corewell Health Lakeland Hospital has a closed, 18-bed ICU and 12-bed progressive care unit with 24/7 intensivist coverage. A variety of sub-specialists are available for referrals and collaboration opportunities on patient care.
