Facility Maintenance Specialist
QUALIFICATIONS :
Preferred high school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience in facility maintenance or custodial services is advantageous. Must meet background clearance standards as outlined by state regulations.

Facility Manager
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT :
Compensation and benefits will align with the established organizational pay structure. The duration of employment and working hours will be determined by the organization’s guidelines.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
Ensure the security of the facility and monitor the surrounding areas. Perform cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, and maintaining floor surfaces. Responsible for the upkeep and replenishment of restroom facilities. Clean and organize classrooms and office spaces, including vacuuming carpets and dusting surfaces. Maintain windows and remove debris from the premises. Execute floor maintenance tasks such as buffing, stripping, and refinishing hard surfaces. Conduct carpet cleaning and maintenance. Replace light bulbs, service HVAC filters, and assist with various projects. Provide immediate cleanup for spills and report maintenance needs.
Assist in the relocation of heavy furniture and equipment as necessary.
Manage the inventory of custodial supplies and equipment, scheduling maintenance tasks as needed. Participate in event setups and support faculty and staff as required. Work hours will be determined by the facility manager based on operational needs and perform additional duties as assigned. Engage in training programs to enhance skills relevant to the position. Participate in cross-training activities as necessary. Undertake other reasonable job-related responsibilities as directed by the supervisor.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES :
Effective communication skills. Ability to collaborate with colleagues. Strong interpersonal skills to interact positively with staff and students. Proven ability to complete assigned tasks successfully. Capability to work independently with minimal supervision. Proficient in following both verbal and written instructions. Knowledge of cleaning methodologies and equipment. Physical capability to lift moderate weights. Adequate strength, agility, and dexterity to perform all essential functions. Ability to adhere to health and safety standards and ensure compliance among team members. Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds. Proficient in the use and distribution of cleaning supplies and equipment.
EVALUATION :
Performance in this role will be assessed in accordance with the organization’s evaluation policies.
