Forklift Driver Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Forklift Driver to join our team at TalentBurst. As a Forklift Driver, you will be responsible for operating a forklift to receive and locate product, move and fill customer orders, and deliver them to the truck line shipping area in a safe and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate a forklift to receive and locate product, move and fill customer orders, and deliver them to the truck line shipping area.
  • Perform quality control checks to ensure accuracy of orders.
  • Load and unload daily shipments, stage them, and store them in their designated areas.
  • Document proper maintenance on all forklifts and input information into the computer system.
  • Work safely within our safety standards, immediately correcting or reporting any unsafe conditions, and complying with OSHA and MSDS standards.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum of 6 months warehouse experience and 1 year experience with Cherry-picking and/or standup Forklifts.
  • Light to moderate lifting required - Ability to lift up to 50lbs consistently.
  • Must have knowledge of receiving, warehouse, and safety procedures and some computer experience.
  • Must have the ability to multitask with strong organization and time management skills.

  • Ability to work in a warehouse environment which includes, but not limited to: moderate noise, ability to work safely around moving equipment, ability to stand for long periods of time, and ability to work in changing climate environments.
