Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Pet Groomer to join our team at Pet Evolution Richmond. As a Pet Groomer, you will be responsible for providing high-quality grooming services to our clients' pets, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Bathing and clipping dogs and cats to conform to a variety of breed-specific styles
  • Detangling and removing matted hair
  • Drying the coat
  • Checking for parasite and other skin conditions
  • Trimming nails
  • Cleaning the ears
  • Gland Expressions
  • Brushing teeth
  • Providing excellent customer service
  • Care and compassion for animals
  • Time management
  • Keeping informed about pet industry and grooming standards

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 3 years of dog grooming experience and 3 years of cat grooming experience
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 60 pounds on a regular basis
  • Strong achievement drive, empathy, integrity, pride, and good social skills

Benefits:

  • Competitive 50% commission split and/or $20 hourly rate, whichever is greater
