Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal Management Engineer to join our team at Henry Ford Health System. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading complex projects and initiatives that drive process improvement and efficiency across the health system.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Scoping and Planning: Develop project scope documents and plans, including resource allocation, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Problem-Solving and Analysis: Lead improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, and other problem-solving methods to identify and address complex issues.
  • Results-Driven Implementation: Manage multiple complex projects and programs, driving implementation of critical business metrics and ongoing process reviews.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Develop and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders, including senior leaders, team members, and external partners.
  • Talent Development and Growth: Coach and mentor team members, providing guidance on process improvement methodologies and data-driven decision-making.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as industrial engineering, business administration, or healthcare administration.
  • Experience: Minimum of four years of experience in a related field, with a proven track record of leading complex projects and initiatives.
  • Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
