Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Plumber II to join our team at Skookum. As a Plumber II, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing systems and fixtures in a variety of settings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Test, certify, and repair backflow assemblies
  • Maintain, repair, inspect, and install plumbing equipment and components for water, sewer, swimming pools, inert gas, natural gas, air vacuum, compressed air systems, steam, and POL equipment
  • Remove blockages from drain lines, interior and exterior sewers, floor drains, fan coil units, air handling units, stacks, vents, and storm drainage systems
  • Adjust, repair, or replace leaky joints, faucets, and other outlets to maintain proper and efficient operation of plumbing and steam fitting systems
  • Install and repair domestic, industrial, and commercial hot water heaters, hot water storage tanks, and plumbing fixtures, equipment, and components
  • Operate, clean, and maintain required tools and special equipment
  • Perform scheduled maintenance on plumbing systems and fixtures
  • Apply all code requirements during installations, repairs, and maintenance
Requirements
  • Journeyman Level Plumber (PL01) certification required
  • Certified per UG-2029-ENV and have a Backflow Assembly Tester (BAT) certificate for the State of Washington preferred
  • 8 years of experience in Plumbing preferred
  • Knowledge of plumbing codes and regulations preferred
  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
  • Valid state driver license required with the ability to obtain and maintain coverage by Skookum's insurance carrier
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain applicable security clearances and installation access
