The Maternity Surgical Technician will prepare for surgical interventions for C-Sections and will ensure comfort and care for patients in the Delivery Room. During quieter moments in the Operating Rooms, you will also be equipped to provide care for new mothers and expectant mothers. Additional duties will include: replenishing supplies, sanitizing and organizing rooms, assisting in patient transport, and supporting the healthcare team with various tasks.

Role: Maternity Surgical Technician
Schedule: Night shifts, 7pm-7am, 3x12 hour shifts weekly

Experience Required:
Prior experience as a surgical technician or Patient Care Technician is preferred.

Educational Background:
Completion of a surgical technologist program accredited by a recognized institution or through military training in the Army, Navy, or Air Force.

Licensure/Certification Requirements:
1. Certification is preferred if surgical technician training was completed on or before a specified date and the candidate has practiced clinically within the last two years.
2. Certification is mandatory if surgical training was completed after the specified date.
