Job Title: Front Desk Agent

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Front Desk Agent to join our team at KSL Resorts. As a Front Desk Agent, you will be the first point of contact for our guests and will be responsible for providing exceptional service and ensuring a seamless experience for all visitors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Greet and welcome guests upon arrival, verifying their reservation and providing them with a warm and friendly welcome.
  • Register guests into the computer, ensuring accurate and efficient processing of their stay.
  • Accept payment for guests' accounts, handling cash and credit transactions with ease and professionalism.
  • Maintain a house bank and make daily deposits and reports, ensuring accurate accounting and financial management.
  • Issue keys to guests and control access to safety deposit boxes, ensuring the security and confidentiality of our guests' belongings.
  • Post miscellaneous charges as requested, ensuring accurate and timely processing of guest accounts.
  • Assist the concierge in handling mail and facsimiles, providing guests with information on hotel facilities and local attractions.
  • Book reservations for guests who approach the Front Desk, ensuring seamless and efficient processing of their requests.
  • Field guest complaints, conduct research, and resolve and negotiate solutions to ensure guest satisfaction.
Requirements:
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with guests and colleagues.
  • Basic computer skills and knowledge of hotel software systems.
  • Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Knowledge of hotel policies and procedures, with the ability to apply them in a fair and consistent manner.
  • Ability to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required.
