Position Overview:
Join FIFTH SEASON, a prominent independent studio renowned for producing innovative entertainment that captivates global audiences. We are seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to contribute significantly to our studio content operations. The successful candidate will possess a robust accounting background, particularly within the film and television sector, to guarantee precise financial reporting and adherence to compliance standards.
- Oversee daily, month-end, and quarter-end closing processes for our Television and Film divisions.
- Work collaboratively with various departments to ensure the completeness and accuracy of data during the month-end closing cycle.
- Examine discrepancies and pinpoint opportunities for enhancement to streamline the closing process.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related discipline
- 2-4 years of experience in the entertainment industry or a related field in an accounting capacity
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and familiar with ERP systems
- CPA designation preferred; experience with Big 4 or public accounting is advantageous
- Capable of managing multiple tasks and working autonomously or as part of a team
