About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Architect to join our team at EXP. As a Project Architect, you will play a key role in leading and coordinating the technical development of projects, working closely with Project Managers and Principals to advance the Firm's mission and business interests.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Leadership: Lead and coordinate the technical development of projects from conceptual design through construction documents and construction phase.
  • Team Collaboration: Coordinate with a multi-discipline team of architects and engineers, both in-house staff and outside subconsultants, to ensure projects are detailed and executed to maintain the design concept with technical astuteness and within the project budget.
  • Design Development: Develop presentation documents and participate in presentations to clients, as well as develop design concepts under the leadership of the Principal Designer.
  • Construction Documentation: Develop construction drawings and specifications for all project phases, ensuring that designs meet applicable building code requirements.
  • Project Management: Assist with all corresponding bid and construction phase activities in the office and in the field.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor or Masters Degree in Architecture from an accredited University.
  • License: Architectural license required.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role.
  • Skills: Detailed knowledge of architectural and engineering practice, with emphasis on design, design development, preparation of construction documents, preparation of specifications, building materials, construction costs, and building codes. Proficient with AutoCAD & Revit.
