Job Summary

As a Block Plant Supervisor at CEMEX, you will be responsible for overseeing the production of high-quality products while ensuring efficient operations and maintaining a safe work environment. This role requires strong leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to motivate and train a team of production employees.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise production employees to ensure efficient and effective operations
  • Monitor and control production costs to meet or exceed established targets
  • Implement and maintain quality control processes to ensure high-quality products
  • Develop and implement training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and resolve any issues that may arise
  • Conduct regular safety inspections to identify and mitigate potential hazards
  • Prepare and submit reports to management on production performance, quality control, and safety
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., business, engineering, or a related field)
  • 5+ years of experience in a production supervisory role
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to motivate and train a team of production employees
  • Knowledge of quality control processes and procedures
  • Experience with production management software and systems
Working Conditions

This role requires working in a fast-paced production environment with frequent exposure to extreme temperatures, noise, and physical demands. The successful candidate must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
