Welder Trainee

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Welder Apprentice to join our team at C&J Cladding LLC. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for learning and performing various welding tasks, ensuring high-quality products, and maintaining a safe working environment.

• Learn and master various welding processes, including GTAW, GTAW-P, SMAW, GMAW, SAW, PTAW, and FCAW.
• Operate forklifts, overhead cranes, and assist in unloading/loading delivery trucks.
• Read, understand, and review job paperwork and drawings/prints.
• Assist in troubleshooting and repair of welding machines.
• Maintain a neat and tidy work area, with all tools neatly stored and kept in good condition.

• High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred, but not required.
• Vocational diploma or training in a manufacturing process is a plus.
• Experience with forklifts and overhead cranes is a must.
• Good understanding of most welding processes and equipment at C&J Cladding.

• Experience within the welding/manufacturing industry.
• Strong organization, drawing interpretation, and problem-solving skills.
• Judgment and decision-making abilities to prevent errors, scrap parts, safety hazards, or other poor results.
