We are seeking a skilled Commercial Driver to join our team at US Foods, Inc. as a Logistics Specialist.

This role involves delivering food products to various customers while maintaining timely schedules and exceptional customer service. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving a commercial vehicle and navigating through multiple yards and routes throughout the week.

The ideal candidate will have a valid CDL Class A license, with necessary endorsements and DOT qualifications. Additionally, they should have a minimum of six months of commercial driving experience or three months of experience in the food and beverage delivery industry.

A competitive salary is offered for this role, ranging from $29.41 to $32.68 per hour. This rate may vary based on relevant experience and/or education, specific skills, function, geographic location, and other factors as applicable by law.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Delivering Products: Ensure timely delivery of food products to customers, maintaining high-quality service standards.
  • Navigating Multiple Yards: Drive a commercial vehicle through multiple yards and routes, adhering to schedule and safety protocols.
  • Loading and Unloading: Safely load and unload products using a hand truck, managing heavy lifting up to 80 pounds.
Requirements:
  • Valid CDL Class A License: Possess a valid CDL Class A license, with necessary endorsements and DOT qualifications.
  • Commercial Driving Experience: Have a minimum of six months of commercial driving experience or three months of experience in the food and beverage delivery industry.
  • Clean Driving Record: Maintain a clean driving record, with no more than two convictions in the past two-year period for traffic violations and no DUI convictions in the past three years.
