Your Role with Us
As a Patient Registration Specialist in our Emergency Department Access Services, you will play a critical role in ensuring seamless patient registration and admission processes. Your customer service mindset and strong data entry skills will enable you to provide exceptional care to our patients and their families.
Key Responsibilities
- Register and admit patients in a timely and accurate manner.
- Utilize Electronic Medical Record system, Epic, to perform various tasks and ensure data integrity.
- Verify insurance eligibility and resolve any discrepancies in a professional and courteous manner.
- Monitor work queues daily to correct any errors and ensure accurate registration.
- Provide coverage to different areas on a rotating schedule, including service areas under Main, Emergency Department, Family Birth Center, and West Valley.
- Participate in training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external customers, ensuring a positive experience for all.

Requirements
- High School Diploma, G.E.D., or related experience preferred
- Requires one (1) year experience in a fast-paced customer service environment utilizing data entry skills
