Job Overview
The Boeing Company is seeking a F-15 System Test Engineer (Level 2 and 3) to be part of the Fighters Mission Systems team. This role is integral to the Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) division.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage with multidisciplinary teams, including hardware and software specialists, to create and implement detailed test strategies for mission systems integration on the F-15 aircraft.
- Formulate, develop, and execute testing protocols and methodologies to validate the functionality and performance of mission systems hardware and software.
- Perform comprehensive testing and evaluation of mission systems integration, documenting any discrepancies or defects identified.
- Collaborate with aircrew to facilitate testing in scenarios relevant to mission objectives.
- Partner with the development team to diagnose and rectify integration challenges, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality mission systems.
- Employ various testing instruments and tools to replicate real-world conditions and assess mission systems performance.
- Create and maintain thorough test documentation, including test plans, cases, and reports, ensuring all testing activities are accurately recorded.
- Work alongside fellow test engineers to enhance testing processes and methodologies, promoting efficiency and effectiveness within the integration lab.
We are looking for candidates at various experience levels, including Associate and Experienced Level F-15 System Test Engineers.
Work Environment:
This position is expected to be fully onsite. Candidates must be prepared to work at designated locations.
Security Clearance:
This role requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance, necessitating U.S. Citizenship. An interim U.S. Secret Clearance Pre-Start and final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is mandatory.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science from an accredited institution.
- Ability to gain access to Special Access Programs (SAP).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Three or more years of relevant experience or a combination of education and experience.
- Experience in an avionics or mission systems laboratory setting.
- Familiarity with data protocols such as 1553, 1760, fiber optics, and Ethernet.
- Knowledge of F-15 aircraft systems.
- Experience with DOORS and ClearQuest.
