Sensor Validation Specialist

Lunewave, Inc. is a technology company developing innovative antenna and radar sensor technology. Our products cater to various markets, including automotive, telecommunications, aerospace, and research.
The Sensor Validation Engineer will validate high bandwidth sensors using rigorous data collection and analysis methods. This role involves working closely with the algorithm and software teams to design and execute tests for evaluating radar sensor performance and reliability. The engineer will perform root cause data analysis and generate cohesive test reports and documentation. Data collection takes place outside on vehicles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Validate high bandwidth sensors using data collection and analysis methods
- Work with algorithm and software teams to design and execute tests
- Perform root cause data analysis and generate test reports
- Collect data outside on vehicles
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or physics
- Experience in data analysis, including statistics
- Experience using MATLAB, Python, or similar for data analysis
- Experience presenting complicated topics to high-level stakeholders
- Valid driver's license
- Comfortable manipulating large multi-dimensional data sets
- Understanding of point clouds and point cloud structure
- Understanding of radar operation (nice to have)
- Hands-on experience with radar, lidar, camera, or IMU (nice to have)
- High-level technical writing skills
- Automotive experience highly desired
