Wealth Management Officer Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- Juris Doctor (JD) and/or advanced degree preferred.
- A minimum of 2 years in relevant fiduciary administration.

- Certifications such as CTFA, CFP, CFA, CES, or similar are preferred.
- Knowledge of trust investments and/or experience in brokerage and alternative trust service delivery.
Wealth Management Officer Responsibilities:
- Oversee fiduciary account management, including regular account assessments, discretionary distribution evaluations, and relationship development with advisors, clients, and legal representatives. Assist in legal research and possess a thorough understanding of state and federal regulations governing fiduciary management.
- Engage actively in Trust Administrative Sub-Committee meetings and conduct annual administrative account evaluations.
- Accountable for the servicing and retention of current accounts.
- Supervise the establishment and funding of new accounts.
- Collaborate with advisors, internal trust teams, legal professionals, accountants, and family members to ensure efficient estate settlement, including document reviews to clarify distribution provisions, approval of final expense payments, and coordination of materials for tax returns.
- Coordinate the preparation of fiduciary tax returns and agency correspondence with accountants, addressing any issues that may arise during the preparation process. Assist in developing new policies and procedures to enhance operations and review tax returns for managed accounts.
- Lead or participate in projects as a subject matter expert, such as IRA development, collaboration with financial planning, system upgrades, and process enhancements.
