Job Title: Courier Driver

PharmaLogic is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Courier Driver to join our team. As a Courier Driver, you will play a critical role in delivering nuclear pharmacy products to our clients across North America.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver nuclear pharmacy products to predetermined customers on specific routes while meeting internal schedule and quality standards.
  • Follow map/directions to locate delivery locations efficiently.
  • Unload products as per client specifications while providing excellent customer service.
  • Act as a customer service liaison for the company, including treating all internal and external customers with respect, listening to and assisting in resolving customer complaints.
  • Inform management of complaints or requests in a timely manner.
  • Accept returns from clients where applicable. Break down delivery cases, dispose of radioactive materials, and sanitize lead pigs.
  • Complete appropriate paperwork for deliveries and returns.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the inside and outside of delivery vehicles and facility.
  • Assist with the stocking of products and supplies throughout the facility as well as tracking inventory.
  • Notify Pharmacy Manager when products or supplies are low, need to be re-ordered or replaced.
  • Perform routine safety checks on vehicles and pre-trip vehicle inspections according to company guidelines.
  • Immediately report all vehicle maintenance issues or malfunctions to Pharmacy Manager.
  • Follow Standard Operating Procedures while safely carrying out the responsibilities of the position.
  • Comply with all company safety standards, and all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Obtain required DOT training and certification.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent with a valid state driver's license required.
  • Must have and maintain a clean driving record.
  • Must have the ability to efficiently plan routes and exhibit proper driving etiquette.
  • Must have the ability to drive in all types of weather and road conditions safely.
  • Ability to work a variety of schedules including early mornings, days, nights, holidays, weekends, overtime, and on-call as needed.
  • Must possess excellent critical-thinking, interpersonal communication, and customer service skills as well as good judgment and self-discipline.
  • Prior driving, delivery, and/or customer service experience preferred.
Physical Requirements:
  • Manual dexterity for manipulating small and large items.
  • Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
