As a LPN, you will assist the Health and Wellness Director in planning, implementing, and evaluating an efficient wellness program consistent with the students' needs and Job Corps goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform duties under the supervision of the Health and Wellness Director.
  • Ensure doctor's orders are followed in the Wellness Center and the care of all patients as prescribed.
  • Maintain charts on all patients and compile medical and dental records of terminated students.
  • Notify residential personnel of released patients.
  • Compile various logs, records, and reports, including wellness use, examinations, and medication use.
  • Maintain a record of all calls to on-call medical personnel.
  • Dispense prescribed medication with cursory examinations, sick call, and wellness care.
  • Serve as on-call nurse when schedules.
  • Work to ensure performance management standards are met.
  • Ensure that required property (equipment) controls are adhered to.
  • Maintain current knowledge in CPR and First Aid.
  • Ensure that the facility is clean and safe at all times.
  • Monitor's area of responsibility to ensure timely and high-quality services.
  • Work toward meeting performance management goals.
  • Follow CDSS plan and Code of Conduct system daily.
  • Comply with all DOL guidelines, OFCCP regulation, Job Corps notices, and bulletins, and Center policies and procedures.
  • Maintain good housekeeping in all areas and comply with safety practices.
  • Model, mentor, and monitor appropriate Career Success Standards.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
