Job Description

At Longview Regional Medical Center, we are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) team on a part-time basis. As a Registered Nurse in our ASC, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to our patients and contributing to the success of our team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate assigned patients and develop individualized care plans to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Assist physicians during examinations and procedures, utilizing your expertise to provide high-quality patient care.
  • Perform various patient tests and administer medications within the scope of your practice as a registered nurse.
  • Promote patients' independence by establishing care goals and teaching patients and families to understand their conditions, medications, and self-care skills.
  • Utilize your experience and judgment to perform a variety of tasks and accomplish goals, ensuring seamless patient care.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of an Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited RN program.
  • Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) in Texas, or license with a compact state required upon hire.
  • Approved Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required upon hire.
  • ACLS and PALS certification required within 90 days of hire; ENCP and TNCC certifications are required within 6 months with facility program.
  • A minimum of one year of surgery experience.
