We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team in Long Term Care facilities. As an LPN with Interim HealthCare Staffing, you will have the flexibility to choose your assignments and work schedule, allowing you to balance your personal and professional life.
Key Responsibilities:
- Care for patients with a variety of illnesses, injuries, and diseases in facilities such as medical offices, assisted living facilities, hospitals, and schools.
- Work collaboratively with a team of physicians, nurses, CNAs, and aides to deliver excellent patient care.
- Take patient vitals, conduct assessments, document progress, and report changes to providers.
- Assist in carrying out physician's orders, patient care, and prescribed treatments.
- Administer medication, operate medical equipment, and maintain a safe environment.
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program and an active LPN license in Colorado.
- CPR certification (demonstration course required).
- At least 6 months of work experience as an LPN or CNA.
- Valid TB screening.
- COVID-19 vaccination card.
- Proof of flu vaccination during flu season (October-March).
- Knowledge of state and federal healthcare laws and regulations.
- Demonstrated clinical proficiency, critical thinking skills, good communication skills, and compassion.
