Key Responsibilities- Diagnose and Repair Vehicles: Use your expertise to identify and repair issues with diesel and gas vehicles, ensuring that all work is completed to Ford and dealership standards.
- Assist Colleagues: Provide support to other technicians as needed, helping to ensure that our service department runs smoothly and efficiently.
- Provide Estimates and Recommendations: Offer accurate and detailed estimates for repairs and maintenance, as well as recommendations for future work to help our customers keep their vehicles in top condition.
- Quality Control: Conduct thorough quality control checks to ensure that all repairs are completed to the highest standards.
- Documentation and Compliance: Ensure that all required documentation is complete and accurate, and that all work is compliant with relevant regulations and standards.
- Communication and Teamwork: Work effectively with our service advisors and parts department to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
- Training and Development: Participate in ongoing training and education to stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and techniques, and to further develop your skills and expertise.
- Education and Certification: High school diploma or equivalent, plus post-secondary automotive training or equivalent work experience and Ford certification.
- Experience: One year of dealer-level, truck, or large facility experience preferred.
- Skills and Qualities: Broad scope of automotive mechanical and electrical knowledge, excellent communication and customer service skills, ability to work effectively under pressure, and a strong commitment to safety and customer satisfaction.
