Position Overview- Specialty: Echo Technician

Job Responsibilities:
- Prepare and calibrate equipment to ensure accurate results; communicate procedures to patients and monitor their condition throughout testing.
- Record and analyze necessary parameters, performing ECG tracings for diagnostic evaluations.
- Set up and verify equipment for cardiac assessments and conduct examinations for patients.
- Review and assess completed tests for quality and accuracy, ensuring high-quality imaging.
- Coordinate the ambulatory ECG monitoring program, managing patient records for billing purposes and preparing reports for physician review.
- Conduct tests using portable equipment when required and maintain patient comfort during procedures.
- Document patient history and address any inquiries, ensuring a clear understanding of the procedure.
- Maintain departmental records and assist medical staff during specialized procedures.
- Support the upkeep of departmental equipment and supplies.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Current certifications in BLS and ARDMS are required.
- Experience with Epic systems is preferred.
