Job Summary:

At SUGIYO USA, Inc., we are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team. This role is responsible for providing quality assurance support to assigned programs and/or areas to ensure that products are manufactured in accordance with customer and company quality requirements while maintaining production flow. All methods of practice and/or work performance will confirm to written established Quality Control policies and procedures and will be carried out to the highest achievable level of competence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform QA/process line monitoring, corrective actions, and continuous GMP inspection
• Verify different inspection points
• Conduct product sampling, micro/qualitative testing, and review results to release products
• Perform post/pre-operational sanitation inspection and monitor swabs after sanitation inspection
• Conduct GMP assessment in the processing line

Additional Responsibilities:

• Maintain boot wash stations, chemical dispensing systems, and chemical cage inventory
• Assist in label check and approval
• Receive raw ingredients
• Assist in production as needed

Requirements:

• Experience in food processing environment (1-3 years)
• Good attendance
• Knowledge of GMP, HACCP, SQF, or other GFSI schemes
• Ability to lift/move up to 50 pounds
• Basic computer knowledge, including word and excel
• Background in Food Science, Microbiology, Chemistry, or related field a plus
