Position Title: SIC Crane Operator
Job Overview: We are seeking experienced Crane Operators to join our team for an upcoming project. Candidates must possess NCCCO certification for fixed cab operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct Job Safety Analyses (JSA) and develop lift plans.
- Review work schedules and prepare necessary equipment and supplies.
- Perform required safety checks on all equipment in accordance with established procedures.
- Carry out inspections and preventative maintenance on cranes.
- Operate cranes safely and efficiently, including 190-ton models.
- May be required to operate Hydraulic and All Terrain Cranes.
- Maintain accurate logbooks and comply with Hours of Service regulations.
- Work collaboratively with Riggers and Truck Drivers to ensure safe hoisting of materials.
- Exhibit regular attendance and perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- NCCCO Certification for TLL and TSS (Service Trucks).
- A minimum of 5 years of documented experience in crane operation.
Physical and Job Site Requirements:
- Ability to utilize all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and lift up to fifty pounds.
- Work environment may include exposure to dirt, dust, grease, oil, vibrations, and adverse weather conditions.
- Must be capable of accessing various work sites, including elevated positions and confined spaces.
- Physical demands include standing for extended periods, bending, and working in awkward positions.
