Laundry Assistant

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Laundry/Housekeeping Aide to join our team at Fenton Healthcare Center. As a key member of our housekeeping team, you will play a vital role in maintaining a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for our residents and staff.
Responsibilities:- Clean and maintain linens, laundry, and other housekeeping supplies in accordance with department procedures and schedules.
- Ensure the secure storage of housekeeping supplies out of reach of residents at all times.
- Properly dispose of trash and waste, including bio-hazardous materials, in accordance with facility policies and procedures.
- Post safety hazard signs when necessary to prevent environmental hazards to staff, residents, visitors, or others in the facility.
- Use personal protective equipment when at risk of exposure to blood or other potentially hazardous body fluids.
- Be cross-trained to perform duties in Housekeeping.
- Minimum high school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Prefer one year experience as a Housekeeper
