Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Material Handler to join our warehouse team. As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for preparing carpet and pad for pickup, unloading deliveries, and maintaining a clean and organized warehouse.

Key Responsibilities

  • Measure and cut carpet and pad based on customer orders and prepare for installer pickup.
  • Unload pad truck and other deliveries, store product as instructed, and follow established systems and processes.
  • Ensure the warehouse and surrounding area are clean and organized at all times.
  • Operate forklift and other warehouse equipment safely and complete company-sponsored forklift certification training.
  • Organize information for inventory control and maintain knowledge of safety protocols.
  • Manage the used carpet/pad drop-off area and ensure it is neat and clean.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Ability to lift 40-86 pounds with assistance
  • Effective verbal communication skills
  • Collaborative team player
  • Valid drivers license and clean driving record

Note

Must be 21 years or older. Employment in this role is contingent on passing a background check and a drug screen. May require a Motor Vehicle Report.
