Job Description:

Velocity Rail Solutions is seeking a reliable and skilled CDL-A driver to join our team as a Local Home Daily Locomotive Fueling Driver. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for fueling trains on an on-call basis, working closely with our customers to ensure timely and efficient service.

Responsibilities:
  • Fuel trains on an on-call basis, working closely with our customers to ensure timely and efficient service
  • Operate a dedicated truck, equipped with specialized equipment, to fuel trains in a safe and efficient manner
  • Meet all refinery carding requirements and maintain current refinery certifications
  • Clear all background checks required by the company, customer, and government
  • Maintain all required licenses and certifications
  • Read, write, and understand English
  • Be reliable and dependable, with the ability to work independently and with minimal supervision
Requirements:
  • Class A CDL with hazardous materials and tanker endorsements required
  • No Automatic restriction
  • Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, and climb on and off elevated surfaces
  • Ability to walk long distances on paved or unmaintained or uneven surfaces
  • Ability to climb in and out of a truck cab multiple times per shift, and climb a ladder or steps 10 or more times per day
  • Ability to drive and work outside in adverse weather conditions
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50lbs frequently
