The Department of Neurology at Myana is seeking applications for a full-time neurologist with a specialization in Vascular Neurology at the Assistant or Associate Professor level. This role will integrate into the dynamic Stroke Division, comprised of faculty members with diverse clinical and research interests in cerebrovascular diseases.
ResponsibilitiesThe selected faculty member will:
- Join a collaborative team focused on high-volume, complex inpatient and outpatient services.
- Engage in teaching responsibilities at the affiliated medical school.
- Provide outpatient consultations in a multidisciplinary environment.
- Participate in clinical research trials aimed at stroke prevention and management.
- Contribute to the educational development of residents, fellows, and medical students.
Applicants must possess an MD or equivalent degree, along with training in an ACGME-accredited fellowship in vascular neurology. Candidates should meet the criteria for an appointment at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor on the Academic-Clinician or Clinician-Educator track.
