About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Housekeeping professional to join our team. As a Housekeeping Assistant, you will be responsible for performing housekeeping and cleaning duties, including dusting and damp mopping floors, cleaning and sanitizing bathrooms, and removing and disposing of trash. You will also be responsible for maintaining a safe and clean environment for patients, staff, and visitors.

Responsibilities
  • Perform housekeeping and cleaning duties in assigned areas
  • Clean and sanitize bathrooms, including sinks, tubs, floors, and commodes
  • Daily cleaning and sanitizing patient room furniture, sitting rooms, and dining room furniture
  • Remove and dispose of trash and recyclables
  • Utilize protective gear in all appropriate functions
  • Report equipment and cleaning product needs and malfunctions to supervisor in a timely fashion
Requirements
  • Demonstrate a positive attitude and ability to follow oral and written instructions
  • Perform routine, repetitive tasks daily
  • After completing all appropriate training, utilize leadership skills to accomplish all responsibilities without supervision
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred
  • Must be able to lift/carry a maximum of 50 pounds, push/pull a maximum of 50 pounds, stand, sit, bend, and walk for extended periods
  • Must be able to perform routine, repetitive tasks continuously
  • Must be able to work around food and cleaning products
  • Must live in the service area
