Job Title: Electronic Assembler - QA

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Electronic Assembler - QA to join our Client Services team in Baltimore, MD. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for driving and managing the production stage of the client services process, ensuring notification solutions meet customer-unique requirements during the sales cycle are effectively produced.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Validate hardware shipped matches the correct product codes, colors, etc., and that shipping addresses are validated prior to shipment
  • Ensure all firmware and programming has been completed per the order specifications prior to shipping
  • Record and analyze repeated QA issues to track Production personnel errors, manufacturer run errors, and notice trends in failing components to make recommendations to Procurement for finding alternative vendors or to Product Development for alternative components
  • Ship all Alertus hardware
  • Manage all build of materials for each product controlling/reducing manufacturing costs
  • Manage and maintain bench stock to ensure timely flow of production queue
  • Use general power tools to produce Alertus Equipment
  • Other tasks as assigned by supervisor

Requirements:

  • Associates or Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering or Equivalent Science Field
  • 3 years of experience in manufacturing small electronics
  • Ability to drive projects to completion in challenging circumstances
  • Experience using Microsoft Office applications
  • Knowledge in the fundamentals of servers, software, networking and other data center technologies
  • Strong interpersonal skills; including written and oral communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills and demonstrated ability to multitask
  • Self-motivated and able to work under general direction
  • Ability to work the required hours to meet deadlines and ensure quality
  • Ability to troubleshoot and repair damaged circuit boards using a multimeter Intermediate Soldering skills
  • Ability to use power tools
  • Ability to lift at least 40lbs
  • General wiring skills
