Job Title: Adjunct Professor of Leisure Studies

We are seeking a highly qualified Adjunct Professor of Leisure Studies to join our team at Oklahoma City Community College. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching courses in the Leisure Studies program, including Total Wellness and Care and Prevention of Athletic Injuries.

Responsibilities:
  • Teach courses in the Leisure Studies program, including Total Wellness and Care and Prevention of Athletic Injuries
  • Develop and implement curriculum that aligns with the program's learning objectives
  • Assess student learning outcomes and provide feedback to students
  • Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the development of program policies and procedures
  • Engage in professional development activities to stay current in the field of Leisure Studies
Requirements:
  • Masters degree in Health and Human Performance or related field
  • 18 graduate hours in Health and Human Performance or related field
  • Experience teaching in a higher education setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience teaching courses in Leisure Studies
  • Knowledge of curriculum development and assessment
  • Experience with online course delivery
