Position Overview:
The Housekeeper plays a vital role in ensuring that our community is maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene. This position is essential in providing a safe and pleasant atmosphere for our residents and their families.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough cleaning of vacant apartments to prepare them for new residents.
- Regularly clean and maintain all living spaces and communal areas according to a set schedule.
- Ensure that all areas of the community are kept clean, organized, and safe for residents, visitors, and staff.
- Manage laundry services for linens, including sorting, washing, folding, and delivering.
- Maintain the housekeeping cart in a tidy and organized manner.
- Report any maintenance issues to management promptly.
- Adhere to safety protocols when using cleaning chemicals and be familiar with emergency procedures.
- Exhibit a professional demeanor that reflects the company's commitment to service and attentiveness to residents' needs.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds independently and more with assistance.
- Capability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Frequent physical activities including lifting, pushing, pulling, moving equipment, climbing, bending, and stooping.
- Visual acuity to interpret requests from residents and staff.
- Willingness to work with the elderly population.
- Availability to work weekends.
