We are looking for a dedicated Nurse Practitioner who:

Will provide essential medical services to our patients, which includes:

  • Conducting patient evaluations, including both brief and comprehensive histories for children, adults, and the elderly.
  • Performing physical examinations, whether focused or comprehensive, to accurately identify patient issues.
  • Formulating diagnoses or differential diagnoses based on patient complaints.
  • Consulting with physicians as necessary.
  • Confirming patient problems and conducting tests, including ordering laboratory tests, X-rays, and other diagnostic measures.
  • Participating in necessary diagnostic procedures such as anoscopy, pelvic examinations, pap smears, electrocardiography, and chest X-ray interpretation, as well as venipuncture when required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess patients for medication use or other therapeutic and preventive measures.
  • Provide counseling to patients regarding health issues, the significance of laboratory and X-ray tests, and the importance of preventive and therapeutic actions.
  • Recommend and facilitate referrals when necessary.
  • Execute specific therapeutic and preventive procedures, including the placement and removal of IUDs, fitting diaphragms, suturing lacerations, and applying casts for minor fractures, in collaboration with physicians.
  • Engage in clinical activities across all clinic locations on a scheduled basis, similar to physicians.
  • Exhibit strong interpersonal skills with patients and colleagues.
  • Participate in clinical consultations and continuing education both within the organization and externally.
  • Perform additional work-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Certification as a California Physician's Assistant or Family Nurse Practitioner.
  • Possession of a DEA Certificate.
  • BLS or ACLS certification.
  • Graduation from an accredited Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician's Assistant Program.
  • National certification in primary care specialty.
  • A minimum of two years of practical experience in primary care.
  • Eligibility to practice in the State of California.
