Job Description

Overview

We are seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our interdisciplinary team at Rehabilitation Hospital of Wisconsin. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the hospital's mission to serve our community.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to identify communication and swallowing disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to achieve patient goals
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes
  • Participate in performance improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and services
  • Contribute to budget planning and cost-effectiveness of services

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's and master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) or eligibility
  • Licensed or eligible for licensure in state
  • Current Basic Life Support/CPR certification
