Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our team at Demco, Inc. As a Warehouse Associate, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient and accurate processing of customer orders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Safely and efficiently pick customer orders for shipment
  • Prepare orders to ship and load packages into a trailer
  • Operate a manual meter to guarantee that orders ship per regulations
  • Ensure that picked orders are free of damage according to quality guidelines
  • Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area
  • Assist other Value Center and manufacturing areas as volume dictates
  • Participate in continuous improvement efforts to create better work processes for all

Requirements

  • Show a strong work ethic and solid work history
  • Paying strict attention to details and accuracy
  • Following directions while emphasizing safety
  • Reading, speaking, and writing legibly in English
  • Counting accurately and doing simple math
  • Standing and walking for extended periods
  • Twisting, stooping, squatting, reaching, and crouching regularly
  • Using proper techniques to lift up to 70 pounds
  • Working overtime when needed
