Salvation Army Truck Driver

The Salvation Army Central Territory is seeking an experienced Truck Driver to join our team. As a key member of our logistics department, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials across various locations while ensuring the highest standards of safety and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:- Drive a Salvation Army truck to designated locations, adhering to traffic laws and regulations
- Plan and execute daily routes to meet delivery deadlines
- Supervise helpers and provide guidance on safe handling and security procedures
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, pickups, and any issues encountered
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and supervisors regarding route changes, delays, or concerns
Salary: $50,000 - $65,000 per year (dependent on experience)
Requirements:- Valid CDL for operating a Salvation Army truck
- At least 2 years of licensed driving experience
- Excellent navigation and route-planning skills
- Ability to lift up to 100 pounds and work in various environmental conditions
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
