JOB SUMMARY: The Facility Maintenance Associate plays a vital role in ensuring a tidy, secure, and organized environment. The Associate holds decision-making responsibilities within key job functions, adhering to organizational guidelines.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
  • Upholds the mission and values of the Catholic organization
  • Models Gospel values in alignment with the teachings of the Catholic Church
  • Adheres to the Religious Standards, policies, and procedures of the Archdiocese
  • Maintains confidentiality concerning sensitive information
  • Performs daily cleaning of rooms, kitchens, hallways, and carpeted areas
  • Disinfects bathrooms daily and replenishes necessary supplies
  • Removes waste from offices and dining areas on a daily basis
  • Conducts weekly, monthly, and seasonal cleaning as required
  • Assists in the setup and cleanup for meetings and special events
  • Periodically disinfects high-touch surfaces such as door handles and telephones
  • Maintains cleanliness of exterior entrances and walkways
  • Applies universal precautions in all cleaning practices
  • Secures issued keys, ensures building security, turns off lights, and adjusts thermostats
  • Exhibits professionalism in conduct, demeanor, and work habits
  • Maintains a work schedule that maximizes availability to the staff
IMPORTANT JOB FUNCTIONS:
  • Collaborates with colleagues to enhance the work environment
  • Responds to emergency cleanups and repairs as necessary
  • Conducts routine maintenance activities and minor repairs
  • Monitors the work of external contractors
  • Communicates maintenance and repair needs to management
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

  • Proficient in critical thinking and planning
WORKING CONDITIONS:
  • May require evening and weekend work

QUALIFICATIONS:
