Job Summary

Join our dynamic Waitstaff team and be instrumental in providing outstanding dining experiences for our residents, members, clients, and guests.

Responsibilities
  • Greet all guests and take beverage and food orders in a prompt and professional manner.
  • Prepare food and beverages for service to residents and guests in compliance with all health and safety regulations and presentation standards.
  • Accurately enter orders into the POS system.
  • Serve food and beverages to residents and guests with accuracy in a courteous, timely, and professional manner, meeting or exceeding guest service standards and expectations.
  • Work with and follow up with Supervisors and Managers to address and respond to residents' concerns and requests in regard to food quality, service, and related matters.
  • Provide Managers and Supervisors with continuous feedback from residents on food preparation, presentation, and taste.
  • Perform side-work and other opening or closing duties as required.
  • Ensure that waitstaff stations are clean and maintained throughout the shift.
  • Perform the necessary duties for emergency drills and situations such as fire, fire alarms, hurricanes, and other possible emergencies as outlined in the Disaster Response Playbook.
  • Interact with residents/clients and co-workers with patience, understanding, and kindness in accordance with Arcadia Family of Companies' mission and core values.
Qualifications

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Education/Experience

High school graduate preferred. Prior customer service experience preferred.

Computer Skills

Use of computers, working knowledge of POS system and software applications to input and research data.

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk or hear; and taste or smell. The employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; push and pull. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally transfer up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
