Job Summary

Adtalem Global Education is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Student Finance Operations Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our student finance operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accurate and timely processing of financial aid for our students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Aid Processing: Review and process student financial aid applications, including Title IV, state, and institutional grants, as well as private loans.
  • Student Account Management: Manage student accounts, including processing student requests to adjust their financial aid, and completing student finance processing according to documented procedures.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Run and process reports to identify, track, and follow up on outstanding students, and provide data-driven insights to inform business decisions.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders, including students, parents, and external agencies.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Identify and mitigate operational and compliance risks, and ensure adherence to all relevant policies and regulations.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree preferred, or 2 years of experience in student accounts and/or financial aid.
  • Skills: Excellent customer service skills, effective communication skills, and ability to maintain a high degree of professionalism and integrity.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and ability to learn and utilize new software applications.

  • Competitive Salary: $17.15 - $27.36 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
