Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Development: As a Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing mechanical systems, equipment, and components from concept through to production.
  • Collaboration and Communication: You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design feasibility, functionality, and compliance with technical standards and regulations.
  • Prototype Development and Testing: You will participate in prototype development, testing, and validation, and provide technical support during manufacturing and assembly processes.
  • Design Optimization: You will analyze and optimize mechanical designs to improve performance, reliability, and cost-efficiency.
Requirements
  • Experience: 3-5 years of experience in mechanical engineering or a related field.
  • CAD Software Proficiency: Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) for 2D and 3D modeling.
  • Technical Knowledge: Strong knowledge of mechanical design principles, materials, and manufacturing processes.
  • Analysis and Problem-Solving: Experience with structural analysis, thermodynamics, and fluid mechanics.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, as well as strong written and verbal communication skills, including technical report writing.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Professional Engineer (PE) License: Professional Engineer (PE) license or eligibility to obtain licensure.
  • Finite Element Analysis (FEA) Software: Experience with finite element analysis (FEA) software.
  • Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA) Principles: Familiarity with design for manufacturability (DFM) and design for assembly (DFA) principles.
  • Project Management Experience: Project management experience and leadership skills.
