We're hiring a dedicated Emergency Medical Transport Professional to work with our team of air transportation experts. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for safely transporting patients to and from medical facilities, prioritizing effective and efficient patient care. You'll work in a quality professional team committed to high safety standards for the crew and our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate each situation to determine the most appropriate course of action to support, monitor and treat patients in critical care situations.
- Apply critical thinking skills to manage the critically ill or injured adult or pediatric patient and support physicians' orders.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and well-stocked aircraft environment, performing regular equipment and base checks, and adhering to safety standards and briefings.
- Collaborate effectively with air and ground teams, dispatch, flight crews, facilities and partners, communicating in a professional manner.
- Provide shift change information to transitioning teams and adhere to protocols to ensure accurate company and regulatory documentation and records.
- Nurses must maintain required certifications and ongoing training required for the position.
