Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant to join our team at Complete Health. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our healthcare providers in delivering high-quality medical services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist healthcare providers in examination and treatment of patients, ensuring a smooth and efficient patient experience.
  • Interview patients, take vital signs, and accurately record information into our electronic medical records system.
  • Prepare exam rooms, stock supplies, and maintain a clean and organized environment.
  • Provide administrative support, including handling portal messages, refilling medications, and ordering additional labs or imaging as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers, ensuring clear and concise information exchange.
  • Perform various clinical tasks, including EKGs, urinalysis, strep tests, flu tests, and other diagnostic procedures as directed by healthcare providers.
  • Administer injections and medications as ordered by healthcare providers.
  • Key data into our electronic medical records system to maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
Requirements
  • Clinical Medical Assistant or Certified Medical Assistant active certificate, or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school.
  • Knowledge of electronic medical records systems, including Athena, and proficiency in Microsoft Office software.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
Working Environment

The Medical Assistant will work in a dynamic and supportive environment, with opportunities for growth and development. The position requires the ability to climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, stand, lift, grasp, feel, talk, and hear, with occasional pushing and pulling. The use of a computer, keyboard, and telephone is an essential part of the job.
