Job Summary

Responsibilities
  • Patient Care: Diagnose and treat various medical conditions, develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans, conduct thorough medical examinations and histories, and maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams, provide clear and concise medical information, and foster a collaborative and patient-centered approach to healthcare.
  • Diagnostic Procedures: Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as lab work and imaging, perform procedures as needed, and collaborate with specialists for further diagnostic evaluation.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with nurses, specialists, and other healthcare professionals, participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and case discussions, and provide consultative services to other healthcare providers.
  • Quality Improvement: Participate in quality assurance and improvement initiatives, review and analyze clinical outcomes for continuous improvement, and implement changes to enhance patient care and safety.
Requirements
  • Graduated from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Masters or Doctorate program.
  • Board certified as a Oncology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in Oncology.
  • Qualification to successfully obtain an unrestricted North Dakota practice license and DEA.
