Job Summary:

This is a 13-week travel nursing assignment with a 36-hour workweek, offering a unique opportunity to gain experience in a fast-paced Cardiac Stepdown unit.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality patient care to cardiac patients, including titrating drips and managing pre and post-cardiac catheterization patients.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest cardiac care practices.
  • Float to other units as needed to ensure adequate staffing.
Requirements:
  • 2+ years of experience in Cardiac Stepdown or a related field.
  • Current RN license in Missouri or a compact state.
  • ACLS, BLS (AHA), NIHSS, and TNCC certifications preferred.
  • Experience with Cerner charting system and ability to float to other units.
