{"Role Overview": "As a Respiratory Care Practitioner at UCI Health, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care to inpatients and outpatients. Your expertise will be essential in delivering basic and emergency respiratory care, ventilator management, and pulmonary testing. You will work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery.

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Provide respiratory care services to patients in various settings
* Conduct basic and emergency respiratory care procedures
* Manage ventilators and perform pulmonary testing
* Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
* Maintain accurate records and documentation

**Requirements:**

* Current RCP license from the State of California
* Graduate from an accredited respiratory therapy program
* Current American Heart Association BLS, ACLS, PALS Certification
* One year of acute care experience (staff RCP)
* Registered with the National Board for Respiratory Care

**Preferred Qualifications:**

* Knowledge of University and medical center organizations, policies, procedures, and forms
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
* Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload
* Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the Health System
