Job Summary

This is a limited-term position located at CC#5 Miramonte in Miramonte, CA. The Assistant Camp Commander will supervise the security, health, and welfare of the inmate population, monitor and supervise the custody staff, and provide staff training and performance evaluations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide staff training and performance evaluations
  • Assist in maintaining an efficient camp operation that satisfies all legal mandates and California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation (CDCR) and Sierra Conservation Center (SCC) policies and procedures
Requirements

The ideal candidate will have excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to analyze situations accurately and adopt an effective course of action. The candidate must be available for emergency assignments and conduct themselves professionally at all times.
