Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individual and group therapy sessions to clients with diverse needs
  • Address co-morbidities such as substance abuse, anxiety, depression, and other mental health concerns
  • Offer support and guidance to clients dealing with gender identity and gender dysphoria issues
  • Serve as a liaison with families and outpatient providers to ensure seamless care
  • Participate in admissions, discharge, and aftercare planning to ensure a smooth transition for clients
  • Provide therapeutic meal support and model a healthy relationship with food
  • Deliver safe, empathetic, and affirming care to each client based on their unique circumstances and intersecting identities
Requirements
  • Master's degree in clinical counseling or a related discipline
  • Commitment to providing inclusive, compassionate care
  • Prior experience with a higher level of care, eating disorders, and/or addictions is highly desirable
